Inaugurated in 2006, its innovative design makes it unique among European conference centres: a jewel of contemporary architecture by Massimiliano Fuksas.
Beneath the impressive glass wave there is a 1,000-seat auditorium and 9 conference halls ranging in size from 70 to 1,000 seats. A large, luminous foyer and numerous offices complete this highly functional complex.
The huge adjacent pavilions, each with a surface area of no fewer than 34,000 sq m without pillars, make it the ideal venue for congresses requiring large exhibition spaces, with plenary halls for 20,000 people.
Situated inside the new Milan tradeshow complex, it is easy to reach with the Metro, which stops right inside the complex.
As from 2008 Stella Polare will be linked directly to two new hotels, totalling 500 guest rooms.
